Stellar Cyber’s security sensors improves overall security posture!
A VPN is an essential component of IT security, whether you’re just starting a business or are already up and running. Most business interactions and transactions happen online and VPN

Stellar Cyber security sensors improves overall security posture. Stellar Cyber, the creator of Open XDR, disrupts cybersecurity economics with a new lineup of low-cost, feature-rich security sensors that enable both MSSP and enterprise users to deploy 360-degree security coverage and a multi-modal detection strategy in any environment.

Jon Oltsik, Sr. Principal Analyst at ESG, “Rapid response to security incidents often requires having sensors in close proximity to the devices being attacked. By reducing the cost of sensors in many use cases, Stellar Cyber is contributing to companies’ ability to improve overall enterprise security posture and responsiveness.”

The new Stellar Cyber sensors provide a secure channel for organising responses to local security tools such as firewalls and Active Directory, as well as the ability to collect logs and API data at the border. Furthermore, to increase visibility, these sensors perform in-depth packet validation (DPI) and network traffic analysis.

These newly released sensors act as the Stellar Cyber Open XDR platform’s eyes and ears, collecting telemetry about attacks from anywhere in the network. They can be used in any form factor, virtual or physical, and in any size environment, from a home office to a high-bandwidth data centre. It is critical that they all have access to the same wealth of opportunities, including:

  1. Log processing and forwarding

2. Deep Packet Verification (DPI) and Network Traffic Analysis (NTA) for more than 3,500 network applications

3. Intrusion Detection System (IDS)

4. Antivirus (AV)

5. Sandbox for zero-day malware detection

6. Identification of assets

7. A secure channel for responding to local security tools such as firewalls or AD

8. Data buffering

9. Centralized management including provisioning, monitoring, software updates, etc.

Sam Jones, Stellar Cyber’s vice president of product management said, “Organizations have many different types of environments, but they all need to implement consistent, multimodal detection and response mechanisms to fully protect against today’s attacks. By reducing the cost of deploying sensors, Stellar Cyber allows organizations anywhere to achieve better security.”
