Malwarebytes collaborates with Stellar Cyber to assist resource-constrained teams in achieving consistent security outcomes across all environments, including on-premises, cloud, and everything in between.
The collaboration occurs at a crucial juncture in the development of cybersecurity, as security products become more intricate and IT teams devote more time to maintaining security controls than to identifying and reducing cyber threats.
Andrew Homer, Vice-President of Technology Alliances at Stellar Cyber, said, “Every security team should be able to deliver continuous, consistent security regardless of their skills or experience. By tightly integrating Malwarebytes’ cutting-edge EDR technology with the Stellar Cyber Open XDR platform, IT teams are able to close the gaps between security controls that attackers exploit.”
Through this integration, Malwarebytes’ EDR solution, which collects detailed threat information for analysis, will be integrated with Stellar Cyber Open XDR Platform. This platform ingests, normalizes, and enriches security data from endpoints, networks, clouds, and logs. As part of its Malwarebytes EDR service, Malwarebytes sends critical data from endpoints and servers to Stellar Cyber for analysis, which identifies potential threats. Upon completing an investigation in Stellar Cyber, response actions are sent to Malwarebytes for elimination.
Brian Thomas, Malwarebytes Vice President of Worldwide MSP and Channel programs, said, “Today’s IT and security teams spend more time sifting through data than eliminating actual threats. Organizations need real-time data sharing and visibility to enable decisive actions before attackers are successful. Stellar Cyber shares our mission to simplify cybersecurity for resource-constrained organizations. Together we uniquely deliver an intelligent and automated solution that allows security teams to be more efficient, and organizations more productive and protected.”
